How to Make It

Prep the tortilla
Lay the tortilla flat and cut one line from the center
straight down to the bottom.
Add your four layers
Picture the tortilla in four quarters. Fill each one like this
Bottom right: creamy garlic yogurt sauce
Top right: crunchy nachos
Top left: saucy vegan beef
Bottom left: grated vegan cheese
Fold it all together
Start with the yogurt side and fold it over the nachos
Then fold that over the beef. Finally fold again over the cheese
You’ll end up with a compact triangle with all the layers tucked in
Crisp it in garlic butter
Place your folded wrap in the pan and brush the top with garlic butter

This crispy taco fold is the viral tortilla wrap that’s actually worth the hype. It’s layered with saucy vegan beef, creamy garlic yogurt, crunchy nachos, and melty cheese, then folded into a triangle and toasted in garlicky vegan butter until golden and crisp. Ingredients
 

Main Wrap

  • 1 large tortilla
  • 3 to 4 tablespoons garlic yogurt sauce→ Mix vegan yogurt with garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and salt
  • A handful of nacho chips
  • 1 small handful grated vegan cheese

Vegan Beef Mixture

  • 3 to 4 tablespoons vegan ground beef→ Use store-bought or homemade vegan ground beef
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons tomato salsa or tomato passata
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 1 pinch cumin
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • Salt to taste

Garlic Butter for Toasting

  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 pinch chili flakes

Instructions
 

Cook the vegan beef

  1. In a pan, cook vegan ground beef with salsa or passata. Add chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Stir and let it simmer for one to two minutes until saucy and thick.
  2. Slice the tortilla
  3. Lay your tortilla flat. Using a knife or scissors, make a single cut from the center straight down to the bottom edge.

Layer the fillings

  1. Think of the tortilla in four sections:
  2. Bottom right: spread the garlic yogurt sauce
  3. Top right: add nacho chips
  4. Top left: spoon in the saucy vegan beef
  5. Bottom left: sprinkle the vegan cheese

Fold

  1. Start at the yogurt section and fold it over the nachos. Then fold over the beef. Finally, fold that over the cheese to create a triangle shape.
  2. Prepare garlic butter
  3. In a skillet, melt the vegan butter with chopped parsley and chili flakes over medium heat.

Toast the wrap

  1. Add the folded tortilla to the pan. Brush the top with more garlic butter. Cook until golden and crispy on both sides, flipping once.

Serve

  1. Slice and enjoy right away while it’s hot and crispy.
